Predator AG6-710 DT Boot Issue

I unboxed my Predator AG6-710 yesterday and was very pleased with it's performance. After a few hours of gaming, I powered my new beast down and went to bed. However, when I attempted to power the machine up today, it would not boot.

I get no system sounds, no harddrives whirring, only the power button illuminating red. I'm pretty bummed and have no idea where to even begin. Could any of you fine gentleman offer any guidance?

can you please unplug the AC power cable, then press power button twice and leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes, then plug it back and check if it boots?

it's better if you call your seller or Acer support service, since it's still under warranty.

    1st day huh?

If you feel up to it these are the steps the service center will take.

    1. Unplug the power.

    2. Place the PC on its side on a clear desk.

    3. Remove the side panel

    4. Touch the metal case thats not painted to remove any static on yourself.

    5. Unplug the power cables (HD, DVD drive, Video card and monitor, KB and mouse (anything plugged into MB) Leave unplugged

    6. Unplug and replug the data cables to the above periphials)

    7. remove the RAM

    8. Plug the power to the power supply only.

    9. Hit the power and you may get RAM post error beeps

10 If not, unplug the power and remove the CMOS battery.

    11. press and hold the power button on the case for 30 secs

    12 wait 2 mins

13 put the cmos battery back in and then try for the ram post error

14 if you get the ram post error then power offthe pc with the button and put the ram back in\

15 try again and if you get post beeps then power off and plug the dvd drive back in

16 test again and if post beep then HD

17 test again and then Video card

18 If post beep, power off and plug one monitor in (if you have 2) (dvi cable only if using hdmi)

19 if you boot then plug in KB and mouse only and try to log in then restart.

If no post beeps after 13 then service center is a must.

If no post beeps at any point testing a part then its the part.

    Hope that helps.
