Have owned this monitor since June 2016.  For the most part I am satisfied with it, however, if the front panel power switch is bumped, or if unit is powered down due to working on PC or on occasion the monitor does not start up when starting the PC.  Monitor showes a blue signal on lamp but screen is black.  The only way to correct this condition is to turn off the rear power switch and umplug power cord for at least two hours or over night, then re-insert power cable, turn on the monitor with rear switch and if the screen comes on with ACER logo, quickly start the PC.  I have experienced this with 2x GTX 980's in SLI and with a PC rebuild including an nVIDIA Titan-X.  This has happend to me a dozen times or more in the past six months and is quite anoying.  Anyone else experiencing this?

Sounds like there might be a short somewhere causing this since it happens when it's bumped. Please contact Acer support from the contact info posted here:

By bumping the front panel start button, I mean that I have bumped the button hard enough to turn the monitor off.  Upon pushing the button again to turn the monitor on, the monitor shows a blue signal present light, however, screen remains black and I have to improperly shut down Win-10 and my PC by holding the start button for 4 seconds.  Then the monitor will not reset and start back up unless I pull the power plug for 2 hours to overnight.  I speculate that the G-sync board in the monitor is the culprit.  Perhaps it is not "synchronizing" sometimes with the SLI'ed GTX 980's that I was running, nor the total PC re-build with the Titan-X.  I have contacted Support and he determined that I should send the monitor to an ACER service center in Temple TX.  I did notice however, that the shipping instructions e-mailed to me did not include an RMA number.  Is that not required for them to receive and repair/replace this monitor?

Sorry for the late reply. The RMA number would be the case number which starts with a 4 and ends with letter U. They also check the serial number to match it up with the case/RMA number as well.
