What is memory usage running Edge browser?

Did you make Firefox your default browser ? See here for how to.

I reverted to IE11 primarily because EDGE lacks the "save as" capability.

Key is not necessarily the memory usage but the amount of page swapping from DRAM to physical memory is going on. If you are getting a lot (more than 1 or 2) of page faults then that is what you computer is doing.

Personally I try to stay under "50% used physical memory" though with only 2GB that can be hard.

Also with a browser, the network speed must be considered.

Will say that Win 10 uses less memory than anything since windows 7 but have to prune out any apps you do not want running. Be aware using the cloud can consume a lot of bandwidth.

You should start your own thread instead of trying to resurrect one that is a year old. Give more specific information on how you have your computer set up, which anti-virus software, what other applications are installed, how many tabs you have open in Firefox, etc...

Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful or click on "Yes" if it answers your question.
