I need performance and durabality fromthe ssd .I am confused here..what to buy??

1.Intel ssd 540s (durabality awesome under heavy load but no performance improvement,4K read QD1 is poor)

2.samsung 750 evo(performance including 4K read awesome but suffers under heavy load,70 TBW)

3.adata sp550 (says that it is a perfect ssd for price performance and its TBW is 90 but the chance of being defective is very high seeing the review in newegg or amazon)

4.corsair force le leb(same as adata sp550 , random write is worst,60 TBW)

i wont do much of writing but just for reading all the time but what i need here is performance and Reliability...thats where i get confused...PLS HELP me here

  • There may be difference in benchmark programs but very difficult to notice any speed difference in daily usage, all of them will be fine for reliability and any electronic component can fail regardless of brand, I would go for Samsung, Crucial or Sandisk brands as most people find them reliable, out of your selection, I would say the Samsung 750 Evo looks good.

thanks for the reply....Samsung 750 has 3 years warranty ..i dont know how much the drive will deliver the same performance as before.... also i am having an availability issue of 750 evo in my country recently......though

-- i also have a eye on Adata xpg sx930,very good 4K random read( close to 850 evo,you can check online Untitled.png) but no market share, old drive (2015),assuming less support since adata released 3d nand su800 model

what would you suggest?? will this one be a great choice....

  • I have never used ADATA SSD and can not say anything about it, don't worry too much about the longevity of SSDs, most of the current SSDs will last for a long time but anything can go wrong with any electronics products, so a regular backup is essential for not loosing your important data and docs.

I have heard good words about ADATA SSDs.

why ae you looking just at those models?  There are plenty of decent SSDs out there at great prices that will be just fine for 99% of users, and likely for you too.

I've had great success so far with inexpensive models like the Crucial MX300 models and the Sandisk Plus models.  very reliable, fast enough that you won;t notice and performance drop over  Samsung Evo, and very competitively priced.

Unfortunately crucial mx 300 is not available in my region..  Though it's a great drive.. That's Why I had to be very choosy...  Those are the only option available for me. Out of that.. Adata seems to be great.. For performance and price.
