What are the resolution settings for the HDMI Port on the Chromebox CXI2-4GKM?

The "Best" setting for the Chromebook 15 - CB5-311-T9B0, Chromebook 14 CB3-431-C5FM, Chromebook 14 CB3-431-C0AK, and Chromebook 14 For Work - CP5-471-312N is Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 IPS.

Whereas the "Best" setting for the Chromebook R11 CB5-132T-C1LK is HD (1366 x 768) 16:9 IPS.

The DC Chromebase - Chrome OS All-in-One has Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 IPS but that too has a 21.5"  display.

All of the "Specs" for the above only refer to a "HDMI" port with nothing more stated.

I did check the manual found in the Acer online support for the CXI2 however it provides a ZIP file that contains the following file:

ChromeBox_for_Meetings_CXV2_UM_20150512_EN.PDF

Which is not the correct manual.

Hopefully this info concerning the wrong manual will be corrected by Acer.

Thanks for the assistance.

I went ahead and purchased an Acer refurbished CXI2-4GKM and it arrived today (11/22/2016). I am extremely happy with this unit.

To specifically answer this question myself I have provided the screen resolution settings while connected to a 43 inch Element TV using a HDMI cable for which the Acer Chromebox indicates that it is an ELST4316S. The choices given are as follows with the Best given first: 1920x1080, 1680x1050, 1600x900, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1360x768, 1152x864, 1280x720, 1024x768, 800x600, 720x576, 720x480, 640x480, and finally 720x400.

Thie setup described above is only using a TV that has a maximum resolution of 1080p, and I would expect that if the TV/monitor had a capability of 4K the Acer Chromebox I purchased would even have a higher resoluttion than shown above.

Looks to me like the specs call for 1080P on the HDMI and DisplayPort both.

I appreciate the response and help. I feel the same way that the resolution for both the HDMI and the Display Port Chromebox of the CXI2-4GKM should be Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 IPS. However, after using the Acer Website "Chat" the representative said the the resolution was HD (1366 x 768).  I was hoping that there was someone who has the Chromebox CXI2-4GKM and could have looked on their set-up screen and provoded more accurate info.  I may have to go to a different brand to get the 1080 resolution that I want.

Likely the support person was confused as to what you were asking. The screen resolution is 1366x768 and doesn't really have any relation to the resolution supprted by either port.
