if you are facing low storage message on updates, you can plug an USB flash drive or extarnal HDD (NTFS formatted) it will be used as additional storage on updates.

you can also try a disk cleanup, choosing to delete system files too, tick upgrades/updates files and let windows delete them for you.

Long ago put a 64gb sd card. Doesn't seem to be using it. I know it sees it cause storage identifys it. Why doesn't that work. And please nobody tell me to clean my drive. It's just to small.

SD card doesn't work as update storage (normally they are FAT32 formatted), need to be an USB flash drive or external USB HDD

Inserted a 8gb flash drive. It's there but windows update never sees it.

8GB is small by the way, need 16GB and up.

Wellllllll installed 32gb flash drive and system knows it's there BUT refuses to recognize it as a device to use for its storage. Same messages - not enough space for the update. Any ideas what might be wrong. About to turn it into a stupid monitor.
