Acer Iconia W510 | Downgrading to Windows 8

I have upgraded my Acer Iconia W510 tablet to Windows 10 a few months ago. It was supposed to be all fine and stuff, but when a month passed, funky things started to happen.

- The tablet would continuously crash

- Taskbar is almost always unresponsive

- Typing is very slow and keys register after 5 seconds.

- Graphics Drivers are not compatible with Windows 10

I would like to downgrade to windows 8, but all of windows.old and any other windows 8 file has been removed...

Windows 10 will not let me downgrade, because it's been over 10 days since I used it.

Is there any way I can downgrade back to Windows 8, or am I supposed to stay with a $150 piece of junk?

In your win8 device, you can create a recovery media that will help you to re-install win8 in win10 machine, if recovery partition is still intact.

you can try to reset windows 10 and check if it was a software/driver issue or buy an Acer erecovery media to revert to factory OS.

    Acer recovery media
    US:
    https://store.acer.com/en-us/extended/recovery/

    Canada:
    https://store.acer.com/en-ca/extended/recovery/

if you are outside the US and Canada, you must call/email your regional Acer support service:
    http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/

The driver is not compatible with Windows 10, so resetting isn't an option.

I wouldn't want to use an item costing me an extra $44 CAD and have it used once or twice.

Is there any "free" way I can do this?

(I have another Iconia W510 tablet running at Windows 8, is there any way I could like transfer the OS from that one to the Windows 10 Tablet?)
