Use of usb type 3 Switch Alpha 12 port

What is this port for? And where are the accessories? I bought a usb type 3 to usb3 cable and it's completely useless. Wouldn't it have been better another usb3 port? At least it would've been more compatible and useful for a lot of things. Or Acer could have used that port for a modern charger, not the prehistoric-ish charger provided.

It is a USB-C physical port with PD and display capability. Which means that it is a USB3 port as well as a power port (both for powering the tablet AND powering other things from the tablet) and it supports HDMI or DisplayPort "natively" without it appearing as a USB-attached device - the display actually appears as though it's attached to the internal Intel display card.

So... get one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IUXA9YK/ (or other USB-C "adapter" or "dock" with PD) to add USB and HDMI then one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HZ61WWQ/ to power it and you have a single-plug connector that works great.
