What is the make and model of your laptop? You may have a precision touchpad installed. Please check in Device Manager under "Mice and other pointing devices".

Hi,
Go to Settings, Devices, select "Mouse & Touchpad", adjust the cursor speed by using the slider.

Do you have any restore points in your System Resore when it was working properly? If you have you could try restoring the system to a previous date when it was working normally, I'm running out of ideas, you may have to wait for someone else to chime in.

I had the problem of over sensitive cursor. So, when I moved cursor just to go to another cell, the cursor will take a load of cells with it. It really made my life miserable. I reduced the sensitivity to nearly 10% and now my life is far more omfortable. I also activated the right click (at the bottom right corner of te touchpad) and life became more simpler.
