Hi my Acer 5755g LAN not working

Hi newbie.... My Acer 5755g LAN not working. Did a recovery and it worked fine. Then when I wanted to use it again it disnt want to work. Downloaded and updated drivers. Says working properly but its not. Wi Fi works, but not LAN.... Can't seem to find the LAN connection... Please help

Is the device listed in Device Manager?
Do you see any devices with ! or X on them?

All devices found all working properly..... Except the LAN0

Oh sorry no x or ! I've got the
Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter
Broadcom Net (TM) Gigabit Ethernet
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter0 -
Device shows in Device Manager
No issues listed for devices shown
Do you get link and traffic lights when connecting the LAN adapter with the ethernet cable?
Do you get traffic lights on the router or modem it is plugged into?

It searches but doesn't find the cable... Router and cable working fine, tried it with other laptop. It worked fine after the recovery and then just stopped. Could it be a BIOS issue? Totally puzzled.... Could it be a setting?0

It may be faster for you to contact support via phone for assistance in troubleshooting this issue.
They could take care of any service needs if necessary, as well.
