Try forcing a power off (hold the power button for 30 seconds) and then see what happens when you try to turn it back on.

Tried that, nothing. It's just black, no lights, just buzzing! Thanks though!

    1 Disconnect screen from keyboard
    2 Charge battery
3 Hold power button 10-15 seconds

I had the same problem few days ago, now its gone.

I've just tried and nothing is happening. Should I wait and charge the battery for a while? It must have charge in it to be whirring so loudly for such a long time surely? Thank you.

    Hmm
    1. Disconnect from keyboard
    2. Charge it for 30 min
    3. Try to Press and hold NOT power button but windows/home button for 30 seconds.
    4. Press and hold power button 15 - 30 seconds

Mine switch 10 only vibrates when i press home/windows button.
Maybe something stuck/wet - clean it.

I forgot about the vibration possibility when the Windows button is selected. Does yours have the button center bottom on the tablet, or is it on the side?

There is no windows button on the tablet/screen and that's the part that is buzzing loudly. Popped it in the airing cupboard last night incase it was wet and so we couldn't hear it, to no avail! Thought it would have powered off or ran out of charge etc. but obvs not, still whirring! Just to clarify it's the separate touch, tablet bit vibrating not the key board. We've stuck a paper clip in the reset button bit and it stopped but wouldn't turn on when we took it out it continued to buzz - argh! I would have thrown it down the stairs if it didn't have my daughters course work on it!

Sure sounds as if the button is stuck down somehow. I'm afraid it's looking a lot more like a trip to Acer for repair. Smiley Sad
