Predator 8 Development

Since it appears that Acer is dropping support for the Predator 8 (no updates on this device and it's still running 5.1). Is there any way of getting development support for this device? I would love to continue development on this structure, but would like a system image of the device. This would mainly be used to pull the BoardConfig.mk data and allow me to reflash the system partitions should I break the OS while trying to develop for it.

I apologize if this talk is not allowed here, I'm not trying to circumvent any copyrights or ownership, I merely want to open this hardware up to the vast possibilities that exist within the Open Source Android world. I bought this device assuming we would be getting regular updates for this "gaming" tablet, but I have yet to see anything substantial from the company in almost a year of release.

Acer, if you won't support the community that has purchased your devices, please open it to the Android Development Hobbyists the world over.

    WARNING! I've Done THAT!

I flashed the Image via the unit's stock recovery, but that image seem to have an issue with the Kernel wherein the Battery Monitoring API gets stuck on 25%

And this one as well, So I eventually had to re-image my tablet using this after I installed God-fire and played 5 mins. After that, the unit shuts down and rebooted, followed by a stuck PREDATOR Logo infinitely.

So that Image file helped in Reviving the unit but only half alive.
