I've been having exactly the same problem with the same model since I bought it some weeks ago. What exactly did you find?

    Hello everyone,

I would like to look into this for you, can you please go to About tablet options and post the Image version and Build number?

Meanwhile I asked the German Acer support and they were able to help me, they replied within few hours.

Go to the Settings, open "Apps", then press the symbol with three dots in the upper right corner and select to show system processes.

Then you can select "Acer Live Updater", "Permissions" and give it storage permission. After that everything worked for me.

My Iconia Tab is set to German language and I had to translate the names of menu items back to English, so they might be slightly different in English.

I use mine mainly as an e-book reader for PDFs. I can't tell what the battery life is, but I get a multiple of your 2.30 hours. My main problem with it is the low battery life (3 days?) in standby. The e-book reader I used previously was much besser in both respects, of course, but that's a different device class that you can't really compare.

You might want to set the display brightness as low as possible and check for CPU-intense tasks, especially background processes that you don't need.
