I am puzzled.   I had always understood that my Iconia B1 ran on Android, indeed it says so.   It certainly has a recycle bin?

You are very definite on this.   The booklet for my Iconia B1 says under Specifications "Google Android operating system".

I am looking now at my emails on it, and there is gthe Recycle Bin.

I wonder if anyone else can help me with this problem.

wait...you asked about a recycle bin on your iconia B1 and there's no recycle bin on your tablet.

Your are talking about the email application recycle bin...not the "google android operating system" recycle bin, that's another thing.

can you explain better, why are you looking about it?

It seems I must say that I want to empty the recycle bin in the email department of my android Iconia B!.

Well, how do I do it, please?

i don't have you email app version but normally there are 3 dots in the top right of your screen, tapping here will let you select all the email on the trash folder and then choose to delete it.

but remember, it also depends on your email provider/server settings.

Most Android apps have a trashcan that deletes immediately rather than a recycle bin that allows you to change your mind and restore what's be pleced in it. Some email clients though are connected to an email server through something like Exchange where the email server keeps deleted items until you manually empty the folder. Is there a chance that is what you are asking about?

It looks as if my problem is related to my email server settings, and I will look into that later.

    Thanks for your help.
