Curser freezes constantly. The only option is to power off. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance

There could be several reasons why this is happening. First try updating the touchpad driver:

Click the Start  button, type "device manager" in the search box, and then select Device Manager.

In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update, and then double-click the device name.

Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions.

I am having similar problem except I use a mouse. It started about a week ago when there was a big update to my laptop.

I took mine to a computer repair shop where they did extensive testing and couldn't figure it out. Sorry, I know it's frustrating. My computer is only 15 months old. Best wishes!
