Z330 randomly resets/crashes

in 2015 Archives

So my phone randomly restarts. Sometimes during calls sometimes during app usage or just lying on my desk doing nothing. It is only 2 weeks old. Would this be a case for a replacement device or is it a software error?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I think I figured out the cause for the crashes. I had too many apps open. 8-10 and I think that phone just cant handle more. It has not crashed since I force close every app after using it.

    check with data connection enabled, if any software update is available:

    settings/about phone - system updates

     

    if not

    try a factory data reset (backup all your personal data first), then

    settings/backup & reset - factory data reset

     

    if your phone still reboots...give your seller or Acer support center a call.
