Asus predator g6-710 not working correctly

Hello Asus, my friend recently bought the Predator G6-710. Which should run GTA 5 perfectly fine but doesn't. Even if he pick the low quality in options he still lags. He tried researching the problem for hours but still got no result. The reason I'm writing is because he is trying to fix it himself and I don't think it's going to work.

Firstly, DO NOT confuse asus with acer(Acer is way better than asus Smiley Happy). Secondly, can you write the model of the GPU? And thirdly what fps the PC runs the game at?

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

The GPU is a Nvidia 1070 8GB and the fps just goes up and down and never over 90.

Ps. Sorry for confusing Acer with Asus.

GTA 5 is usually a very heavy game. Does the problem occur only when playing GTA 5 or other games too. For the 90 fps cap(not sure why it is 90) but make sure vertical sync and triple buffering is off( in nvidia control panel) and the game too. Then try running the game again and see if the max fps still will be 90. I also want to know at what resolutions you are running the game, and set all the settings to max including MSAA. If you are running the game in 4K and if add every setting to max do not expect more than arround 30 fps.

Sadly the Acer G3-710 and G6-710 is far behind the Asus ROG hardware when you cant overclock the cpu on the Acer motherboards.Something i did instead on my homebuilt computer with Asus Maximus Hero VIII motherboard and Intel i7-6700K.If you look att those amazing bios configurations on many Asus motherboards you will cry for sure when you try the same on a Acer.Acer have in other word something to learn here in the gamer community. And to the answer : Change the graphic card to maximum performance and see if that helps.
