G9-591-71HP WIFI hotel connection

Hello,

 

I'm french, sry for my inglish.

 

I have a G9-591-71HP with W10 anniv.

 

I have a BIG problem with wifi in hotel.

 

the pc don't have connection or find network but not internet (no ip adress) 

 

My Galaxy S5 connect any time! 

 

I change the driver many time... no result.

 

I test cmd ipreset all ... no result.

 

use windows tools ... 

 

 

HELP ME PLEASE !

    Yes, but for the price of this laptop..... I want to connect wifi... it's basic! 

     

    Many laptop at alf price do this easily !

    The problem is basic. If i have understanded correctly you have windows10 anniversary(still not avaliable for predator laptops). That means there is a chance that some of the drivers might not work with it. In your case the wireless driver(wifi) is messed up. Did you install the windows 10 anniversary from the microsoft website? If yes then i advice you to do reverse update back to windows 10 and this will fix the problem.


    PS: I forgot to ask did the problem appear after updating to windows 10 anniversary.


    If there is a french guy here i will really appreciate if he translates this to french because the google translator doesn't translate it to french properly Smiley Happy

    You think seriously, than the only prob is the windows version? (mine is windows 10 14393.187)

     

    I make the update by windows store.

     

    I think my prob is prior as update beacause I have trouble with wifi from purchase. (but not at home, only with some hôtel network ! )

     

    Troubles are: no connections or no ip adress, or very slow connection... 

     

    I think the "Killer suite" is not very fonctional.... and the modèle of the card and their parameters are not correct or corrupt...

    That is why I asked if you had the problem before the update. Then i advice you to uninstall the killer suite. I have heard other people having problem with it. Also before buying my predator i have read and watched reviews stating that there is some kind of a bug or just a problem in the wireless card when you try to connect to a hotspot that is away from the laptop and the same problem as yours appears. Uninstall the killer suite its almost useless anyway but doesn't guarantee the problem won't presist.

    That is why I asked whether you had the problem before the update. I can only advice you to unistall the killer suite. Before buying my predator i have read and watched many reviews stating that the predator laptops are having some kind of a bug or just a problem in the wireless card when they try to connect to a hotspot which is away from the laptop and the same problem as yours appear(complete forgot about that). Uninstalling the killer suite might be helpful(it is useless anyway).Then I advice you to go closer to the router and check if the laptop will be able to connect and have stable connection. If it does connect that means the laptop is unable to connect to a hotspot which is away from it even if it shows there is a signal.

  • As you can see in this forum, there're already some threads to wlan problems.

     

    Most stable driver I tested is KillerSuite_1.1.57.1686_Win7_Win81_Win10.exe

     

    If it does not help I need more details like DNS Error in Windows Error Reporting or so.
