ASPIRE 5750G Windows 10 LAN driver issue
Hello there,
I am having some issues finding a compatible LAN driver for my aspire 5750G on windows 10.
Whilst connected with a LAN cable, the first time I boot up my laptop or after restarting the adapter, internet works. It gives me an IP and everything. But as soon as I start browsing, I lose the connection to the gateway.
I've tried all the possible methods of fixing this. Tested with a different router, disabled ipv6, disabled dhcp on the router and set up a static IP and gateway + everything else that I could find on Google. Nothing works. I tried to install the windows 7 lan driver from the acer support website but unfortunately it throws the following error: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" even with compatibility settings.
Did any of you came across this issue? If so, could you please share the resolution with me?
Thanks in advance!
Alex

check under Device manager, your ethernet lan model and then have a look if it matches the one from Broadcom website:

then download the driver available and install it.

that yellow sign is from the touchpad driver, i'll download the driver in a bit and let you know of the outcome, thanks!

If still having a problem, try opening a DOS box (CMD.EXE) and enter "ipconfig/all" (without the quotes). Can post all but of most interest is the section under "Ethernet adapter...".
