'Inspect Element' message
I periodically get a pop-up message saying 'Inspect Element' when using the track pad to click on a link. I have no clue what's causing it, but usually if I move the cursor to another area and then back to the intended link it'll allow me to click on it. When the pop-up comes up if I click on the 'Inspect Element', the lower half of my screen comes up and there's a bunch of computer lingo (coding maybe?) displayed. I'll close that little screen and try to click the originally intended target and it usually works. But what on earth is causing it to tell me to inspect the element in the first place? I've not even had the laptop for a week, so this has me baffled.

Are you using MS Edge browser? Try IE or Chrome and see if it still does it.

To my knowledge I've been using IE....the blue 'e' in my lower toolbar?

That is not IE, that is Edge.

Well that's not very helpful, it looks way too similar to the e from IE

Have you tried another browser?

I've not, because honestly I'm not sure how to do that.

Open the browser you have, type Chrome in search, download and install Chrome, or IE or Mozilla Firefox, or Opera, etc. I like Chrome so, that's what I use.

Thank you!! Chrome is soooo much more my speed than Edge, but I think Edge could have potential after MS has some time to address the many, many, many concerns its users have voiced.
Again, thank you for the patience in walking me through the change!
