Aspire SW3-013 "This is not a dock hard drive that you've already paired" Error

My laptop was recently sent to the Acer repair centre in Sydney and the hard drive was found to be defective and replaced.

Unfortunately, when it returned I continually get a message which states "This is not a dock hard drive that you've already paired".

After contacting Acer Tech support, I again sent to the repair centre to get it fixed. It has returned with the exact same problem.

Both times Acer did a factory reset before returning it to me and all I did was start up the computer and allowed to do the automatic Acer and Windows updates.

This is very poor customer service.

Is there anyway to fix this? Without returning this Laptop to the Acer Service Centre again?

Try to attach the keyboard and press the Ctrl and FN key at the same time to see if this fixes the issue.

    No, it did not.

There is an option to unpair the pad and dock in the BIOS but it requires a code.

Is this the way to fix the issue?
