Dear Acer, Do you plan to release the latest Android 5.0/5.1 for the E700 Liquid in the future? Thank you very much for your consideration and time! Best regards, David Bergenlund

Dear Acer, we love (well that's too strong, we like) our E700 very much despite some weird things such as no backlight on the bottom menu buttons so problems reading in the dark when Mrs Cavehomme is asleep  Smiley Happy  In fact, your next model should really have those 3 keys as physical buttons please.

I will keep my Acer for the next 2-3 years probably, so an upgrade to 5.1 would be nice IF it does not increase battery life or cause other problems.

That said, I really congratulate Acer for upgrading to 4.4.2 as soon as I connected my new device last week. Most device manufacturers such as Samsung do not provide any upgrades, that's shocking, so I will not buy Samsung any more and I am very happy with Acer, not perfect but very good.

I doubt it will ever happen after speaking today with both Acer, and Google. Acer got the official versions of Lollipop 03/11/2014, Marshmallow 05/10/2015, and just a couple of days Nuggat.
Nearly two years wait already for Lollipop, I was advised by Google, it appears the only way we can get it, is of the net, and do it yourself.
I am making an official complaint with Acer about it, I certainly won't ever buy anything Acer ever again, I suggest all other buyers do the same. Very poor from Acer, no updates, all I got told from Acer is to contact Google....
It appears Acres attitude is, what you see it what you get, and you can't update it.

As for upgrading to an X2, total waist of money, already two android versions out of date, and hardly available anywhere yet, except, Phillipines, USA, and Asia.
