S232Hl Monitor

Just a note to Acer to convey that I am totally frustrated with the apparent total lack of customer support for even simple questions.  I can't even make contact Acer to find out why I am having problems with my monitor since I switched to win10.  I should not have to depend on community help!!  Yes, the monitor is out of warranty, but win10 is a major change and Acer should provide support for legacy products.

Needless to say, i won't be buying Acer again.

Here is how I resolved the problem of HDMI not displaying properly on the S232HL monitor with Intel HD530 graphics and WIN10.  I have 2 monitors, of which the other has DVI, no HDMI.  Since I don't need the audio from HDMI, I am going DVI on both monitors.  The HD530 DVI port is connected to the Acer monitor, and I bought a HDMI-DVI adapter to connect the HDMI port to the other monitor's DVI port.

This is obviously a more economical solution than buying a new monitor.

    Hello All,

I see you have an issue with monitor compatibility issue after upgrading to Windows 10. The monitor is S232HL. According to your post you’re using a gender adapter [HDMI-DVI] so, let’s do DVI only.  Your video card is an INTEL HD530.  Have you tried Intel download center to update your drivers after upgrading to Windows 10.
