Hi,

i pressed the power butten while I was in Bios and now the computer does not start. No Signal to screen, no beep, I can hear that the HDD powers on and the CPU fan is spinning but nothing happens...the Power button is blinking somehow.

I tried CMOS reset with the jumper...no effect; tried to remove the battery and unplug everything for some hours...no effect. Tried to start withoud HDD and CD...no effect; tried to start with ram on different bank...no effect; tried without ram...no effect.

The Motherboard is a DAA78L.

Is there an emergency recovery for the BIOS or anything i can do?

I hope someone can help me

Mike

Hi TheMichael! I was wondering if you ever got your issue resolved on your own or something. I seem to be having the same issue at the moment. I wish I knew what the problem was in order to do something, whether just resetting something or buying a new motherboard. Anyways, hope all is well in your Acer universe and that you may be able to assist me (or that anyone could actually) in getting mine back in its proper order. Thank you and have a good one!

Exact same issue just happened to me last night. Any help would be needed.
