    Hold down the windows button first, then volume down while still holding down the Win button. The display should momentarily dim. Image is saved to Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder.

    that does not work...the volume goes down to zero and when i release pressing the windows icon the options for windows opens up....do you knw why it does not work for me?

     

    is it this particular model thats at fault?

    Make sure bluetooth is off and no keyboard is connected. You can also use the snipping tool untill solution is found.

    i assume thw 'windows' button is the icon that opens up my applications, shortcuts to apps. Its the windows logo thats on the toolbar on the far left hand side..? My tablet has no actual physical windows button.

     

    I think I am pressing this so much now that its damaging the software somehow because it s causing the tablet to malfunction.

     

    Anyway it still does not work.

     

    Can you explain how to use the snipping tool please ?

    I checked and your model does not have Win button. Sorry

    Try pressing Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously and hold until display dims. If this does not work open Snipping Tool app.  To take a screenshot with Snipping Tool, select New, and then select the part of the screen that you want to capture. Choose from free-form, rectangular, window, or full-screen snips by selecting the arrow on the New button.
