Aspire L100 CMOS checksum error

Greetings.  I just picked up a Acer Aspire L100 decktop today for a really good price.  I plugged it in and booted it up.  It had the error message 'CMOS checksum error'.  This would mean that the cmos battery is either going dead or is dead.  I have replaced these type of batteries before, but this one is different. Different as in how do I get to it?

The model of this Aspire is actually ASPIRE L100 ASL 100-UD400A.  It is about the size of a large book.  After removing the top cover, what do I need to remove to get to the CMOS battery?

Thanks for any advice and information.

To help you understand, When a CMOS Checksum error occurs during system startup, it could mean that the system has been restored to default factory settings. The CMOS contains data related to BIOS and may have been reinitialized. It may also be possible to fix the problem by reinitializing BIOS.
The problem could also occur due to the CMOS battery power is down or the bad battery installed, so it is recommended to contact Acer Support Center for further assistance or to replace the battery under warranty period. Please find the link to contact Acer support:
