My keyboard section stopped charging. Battery #2 is now "not detected".

I can charge the tablet piece with the charger, but I cannot charge the keyboard (no lights)

I read an old thread but no solutions have been posted:

Can someone help?

There is really no good solution when a battery discharges far enough to trigger the internal curcuit that blocks charging current. It's a safety feature that keeps it from melting down or catching on fire, but it's also a hassle. You pretty much need to replace the battery. Smiley Sad

    Hi Ace

Thanks for your reply. I have had a thought about it, but that's not really what was going on.

It had battery but it wouldn't charge. And over time the entire battery drained, but it stopped charging even before the battery drained.

I can't even charge the tablet portion by having the tablet docked into the keyboard unit with the keyboard unit plugged into the charger. The only way to charge the tablet is by charging it directly from the charger. They keyboard unit circuitry that deals with the charging is totally broken, it can't charge its own battery and it can't charge the tablet. The keyboard and touchpad portion still works though.
