Iconia A1-810 stuck at the Acer logo

Hello there,

I have an issue with my Acer Iconia A1-810 tablet, which has started months ago. Here is a brief summary of my issue:

1) When I turn on my tablet, the tablet turns on but instead of booting into Android (4.4 for my tablet), it does nothing and gets stuck at the Acer logo until I turn it off.

2) I am unable to get into recovery mode (Power+Vol Up) as doing that will bring me to a blank screen, not a recovery screen.

3) Flashing using the SP Flash Tool will not work as well, as it gives me errors while executing the flash.

What is the cause of this issue, and is there a way to fix this at home?

if even SP can't flash your tablet, i suspect a ROM corruption (some memory sector can't be read or written).

    you can't do pretty much.

SP Flash tool gave me an Error 2004, which has happened on all three Windows 10 PCs that I've tried. Even my netbook running XP gives me the same error.

I find it funny that draining your battery flat and not charging it for a few days will cause this ROM corruption.

I suppose the best thing to do is to bring it to Acer to let them fix it?
