Hi. I am trying to fix my Acer B1-820 tablet and I am needing to know which cable in the inside of the tablet controls the touchscreen display. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, yet it still will not work. Please help me.

I believe the connector on the motherboard is marked either J9701 or J8200. With some of those models there is just a compression fitting between the motherboard and display, so no actual cable.

This is the best picture I could find. The ribbon under the battery on the right side should be the video cable. On the left the digitizer, I think. They should both be taped down after the battery is installed.

Thanks. It's the 1st illustration that I have seen. Is it the digitizer that handles the touchscreen. I only dropped it at a short distance to the floor. It didnt even crack the screen, however when the battery died, and I recharged it, the screen no longer would work.

It's possible the battery moved enough to pull the digitizer cable partially loose...
