I have the Acer Iconia One 10 (B3-A10) tablet. In the settings It see's my SD card that I installed but I am not able to move any apps to the card. And several apps that have the option to move data to the card state there is no card installed/found.

With a bit more research I've got half an answer to my own post. Moving apps is no longer part of the Android OS. That's a bummer, moving apps is a great function to save space on the device and make good use of the SD card.

But that still leaves the other question. I have the SD card set as my primary drive for downloads, ect. But so far everything that I have downloaded still goes to the main internal harddrive of the device. And some apps in their settings have an option to where data is stored. I go to change that to the SD card. And get a message that no SD card could be found. Yet the device does see it.

Is there any chance the SD card is formatted in a way that Android doesn't like? I know there are issues when usinf NTFS...

I thought about that too. It is FAT32 formatted. Even tried a 2nd SD card to make sure the one I was using wasn't just bad either. Connecting the tablet to a PC I am able to move files to and from the SD card just fine.

Just on the tablet making it my default location. Nothing seems to write to it. And some apps which use SD cards for storage dont seem to see it.
