Aspire M3470G gives double beep and displays message about Acer bios but no bootup.

Are there jumper pins I can try to restore bios-assuming this is the problem?

    Hello,

     

    Have you replaced the CMOS battery?

     

    Note:

    The Clear CMOS jumper should be located near the CMOS battery.

    Yes. I took it out to test it but it was ok. I probably had it out too long.

    Yes, the 3 pins are just above the right side of the battery.  I have the jumper on the 2 right pins. If I use the the 2 left pins, I get nothing at all. No beeps or display. What is the correct procedure to reset the bios settings? Do I need to flash the bios & how do I do this for this computer? I did it for another computer but that was just for an update. Also, I should mention that I have a hacker that remotely controls the computer so that might be the problem. All efforts to get rid of him have failed. Some advice on this problem would be appreciated but I guess this is not the right place for that.
