I upgraded the RAM and added an M.2 SSd to my Aspire vn7-592G and now it won't function on battery.

The system sees the battery, reports a charged level of 73% but doesn't charge or work if I unplug the AC adapter,  I've taken everything back apart and reassembled but that hasn't helped.

Thanks in advance

Hey, I actually have this exact same problem. Same computer and everything.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I never found a functioning solution.  That computer never functioned correctly again.  I returned it and was sent a new unit.

I saw someone posted in another thread that all ge did was screw everything back in and the battery was recognized again

That did not work for me.  It was completely reassembled, disassembled and re assembled multiple times by several different people, including 2 repair benches.  We found multiple forum posts and tech support suggestions to solve the problem, but none were successful.  Nothing was found to be broken, no wires cut, no screws missing, just a no longer fully functional laptop.  I've had the replacement since January and while it functions fine, I haven't yet opened it to install the ssd.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear about that. I just screwed everything back in and it worked for me.
