Acer recovery media

if you are outside the US and Canada, you must call/email your regional Acer support service:

Thank you for the reply but I've tried that and it says the SNID and serial number are not found. I have downloaded the system info utility and that is where I got the SNID because all of the original stickers on the bottom are pretty much un-readible. Any suggestions?

I am not 100% sure as it belongs to my brother-in-law who lives in Sweden. I would venture to say no because I had to replace the KB and it had a sticker on it stating it was a "Scandinavian" version. He knows absolutely nothing about computers and I enjoy working on they so I told him I'd look at it....

Ok, so the only way to have a recovery is to buy it from Sweden.
Which OS is installed?I'm not an Acer employee.0 -
According to acer it was originally shipped with vista but it has windows 7 on it now as I do not own vista (never did).

so, you loose windows 7 product key too?
i think that only Acer Sweden can provide you the original erecovery media or some third party services in US.
or...i presume, at nearly the same cost:

if you have the key and you are enough brave...you can try to install windows 10 and use your serial to authenticate.
