Can't log on

I have an Aspire E1 572 and can't log on. The error message I get is that I should either type in my last password or go to account.live.com. I can't get past the password? I've removed the battery and tried to log on again but I'm still stuck. Any ideas would be welcome

    try this:

On the bottom, right side you should have 3 icons.

Click on the middle one (ease of access).

Now find and click on the "on screen keyboard".

A keyboard will come up on your screen.

Enter your password by clicking your mouse on each letter or number, click enter

check it you are able to enter your account

then check you system and keyboard language

    Hi

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not seeing that.

The error message I get when I type in my user name and password is the following " You can't sign into your PC at the moment. Go to account.live.com to fix the problem or try the last password you used on this PC"

I can't access account.live as the only other options available that I can see is to reboot, sleep or sign off

Any suggestions would be gratefully received

you need to log-on to account.live.com from another PC and check if your password is correct or your account is still working.

Was your issue resolved in the end? Why did the laptop do that?
