Hi

I have an ASPIRE 5536 WIN10 laptop - I hope this is the appropriate board, only Aspire option. I keep on losing my internet connection when i am remote. My home connection appears to be working fine,or so i think. The error messages i receive (while remote ie Starbucks) indicates that it’s my network adapter. Unfortunately I cannot locate the update NETWORK ADAPTER UPDATE ASPIRE 5536 WIN10. Can someone please share the appropriate link along with download and installation instructions? Is this just a software issue or how do I determine if there is a hardware issue? thanks.

LBB

    Windows logo key + x
    click on Device manager

    click on network adapters
double click on your network adapter
    choose "Details" tab
    from dropdown menu, select HardwareIDs
click on the first value and copy/paste it here

    Try this:

click on download, double click to extract files from the downloaded file, then run setup.exe

As a follow up , I ended up updating my wifi network driver's after the win 10 update. Microsoft was already aware of "some isues" . also needed to contact Starbucks to reset their wifi connections , it was happening only at multiple starbucks
locations. Since then location 1 seemed to work fine , today I'll visit my primary location to see if its fixed there.
