Acer Active Stylus

I think about it, to buy a stylus pen to my Aspire Switch 11. I'm not sure if this makes sense. If someone uses it, please let us know which programs the stylus pen is working and is happy with it?

Thanks.

There are two main types of stylus. You can use the ones with the wider rubber tips, which act like skinny fingers. The ones with the pointy tips require a different type of touchscreen.

I haven't used it myself... Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Well my feelings for this stylus are mixed. It is very precise, unlike some other stylus of similiar price. The erase button on the stylus is really convenient. Finally it has a very good working palm rejection.

But all of these last for about one month. After that the pen starts being skippy. Moreover it has no turn off button which may result in major battery drain. Also its casing is not very durable. It started coming off after half a year of extensive use.

And if you plan to move out of US, forget about replacing it. I havent been able to find this stylus anywhere in Europe or near by places. It is so annoying. It is a really nice stylus gone wrong. I hope they fix it in the  next versions. I have always seen acer as a company that provides durable and cheap versions of fancy stuff in the market. Acer Aspire Switch + Active Stylus was for me the cheap version of Microsoft Surface Pro but without a proper stylus it just feels like a regular laptop.
