Hi Everybody,

Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-011-19VU, was with windows8.1 32bit.

basiclly the tablet won't start up now.

I have gone little bit far already, but can not install windows8.1 or windows10

I can go in windows8.1 32bit reinstallation, but i could not delete 4 partition.

I tried to format the last 2 partition even there is error message came up told me could not format but the partitions is actully empty after that action.

I won't be able to install windows on any of the partition.

Can anyone tell me how to delete partitions and finish reinstallation.

Thanks Very Much

Have you tried to press Alt+F10 at boot?

this will start Acer recovery media...if you didn't delete the recovery partition.

I think you will be able to delete all the partitions if the recovery is already gone.

when you start windows 8.1 installation, at language selection, press shift+F10, this will open a command prompt, on command prompt

    type
    diskpart
    then on diskpart type
    list disk
take note of the correct disk ID to erase
    type
    select disk x
(x is the ID of your HDD to erase)
    type
    clean

    type exit

your HDD will be erased completly, proceed with windows installation

Thanks for your help but i have done what you told me and it is not working.

when i am going in the installation the 4 partitions are still there.

Is there any other way that i can reinstall windows?

    Thanks

Can you check on BIOS if HDD password is set as frozen?

can you try to access command prompt again and instead of a simple clean command, use

list partition (to have a list of SSD partitions)

select partition x (x is the number of partition you want to delete)

    inactive

    delete partition override

if it's successfull, do it on all the other partitions.

any error reported during delete partition?

i found a bit strange that no partition can be deleted.

At this point i suggest you to contact Acer support service if still under warranty.
