Acer One 10 Keyboard Simply Stopped Working...

in 2016 Archives

Got this thing in September and in about January (in great condition) the Keybaord stopped working.  0 input from the keyboard works.  Anyone have any suggestions?

    I don't think there is a quick fix for this that you can apply since there is not a setting to turn the keyboard off. Can you get into the BIOS to see if it works outside of Windows? To do this, you need to power the computer down completely (hold the power button for 10 seconds), then boot it up and press F2 when you see the Acer screen. If it does not work to get you into BIOS, I suggest contacting technical support to set up a repair.

    How could i hit F2 without a keyboard?

    Sometimes a keyboard may function before Windows loads and allow you to hit F2. I have seen instances where people can get into the BIOS and use the keyboard, but it stops working when Windows loads. If you can't use F2 to get into the BIOS, I suggest you contact technical support to create a repair order.
