My Acer Liquid X2 smartphone is rooted, so I can`t install any OTA update.

I want to return to the stock firmware/ROM.

Where can I download it? Or may be any backup image of system files.

Thanks!

    Yess!

I flashed the files from the archive (but I un-checked the preloader, recovery and userdata in order to keep my custom recovery and my user data), the result was OK, now I have the next version of the stock firmware (...36 instead of ...35). As it is the latest version, when I check is there any update available, it tells me there is no update for my device.

The device now is not rooted, of course.

Yes, it doesn't help, the TWRP is also unable to flash the update.zip file that I received by OTA. I hope I can flash the full ROM, but I can't find it anywhere.

I think ANY version, doesn't matter. But the FULL version, because the patch ( the update.zip) doesn't flash via TWRP

you can't use a custom recovery to flash a stock full rom since it has some check on versions; you can do it, modifying...but community rules don't allow to talk about this things.

Ok, let's consider that I have the stock recovery, because I can restore it, if I want. Anyway, I need the stock ROM, and I can't understand, why I can't find it somewhere. The other Acer smartphones have a download page with stock O.S., but the Liquid X2 - doesn't.

Thanks, I wrote them many letters, too. They gave me a link to the stock ROM, but the file is broken, because it's size is only 166 Mb. I asked them to re-upload it, but I didn't get any answer yet.

No, too small and it's source kernel.

I've been told that the stock ROM must be about 1,1 Gb. But I still can't find it.

How did you unzip it? WinRar and 7z couldn't unzip, they gave me error message that the file is corrupted.
How much is the size of the downloaded file?

Ok, now I see. They uploaded a new file, it is dated as 22.03.2016, instead of 18.03.2016, as the other two files, and now it has quite a different size. Let's try )

    Original File was: Acer_AV0L0_S59_1.035.00_AAP_GEN1 / Fri Dec 4 17:12:54 CST 2015

the new is: Acer_AV0L0_S59_1.036.00_AAP_GEN1 / 29.01.2016. Let me know if OTA update

function is ok after rom installation.

Here are full instructions for the SP Flash Tool

    http://spflashtool.com/

I did all the same, but I left the "Preloader", "Recovery" and "Userdata" un-checked.

If there is any question, I am ready to answer.
