tnx but that is not the solution. I allready have a 64 GB sd-card but the free space required for windows self isn't enough. I get all the time the same warning: no space enough for windows. There is no space left for the windows envoirement. I cannot upgrade tot win10 beceause there is not enough memory. I hoped there was a possibility to upgrade the c-drive. (another ssd-drive??) It is not possible to make space on the hidden drive. (i allready asked to Acer)

    you can't.

the SSD in fact is a soldere eMMC module.

    try a disk cleanup:

    windows logo key
    type
    disk cleanup
    click on disk cleanup
click on Clean up system files
    let it scan
then tick the files you want to delete, it's safe to do it
at the end press ok and let it clean the HDD for you

    I'm not an Acer employee.

tnx, but htis results in only 5 MB. I have installed Office 2013 and a small programm. The rest is acer programm's and windows defender. Was i the only one who has this problem? So what is the usefull meaning of this 'laptop' At home i will install office on the sd-card but that will make only about 300 MB free. I bought this laptop just for on tour. But if nothing can be installed, what should i do with it?

The initial install has (IIRC) about 10-12GB free on the drive. I know Office takes up some room, but it shouldn't be more than 3-4GB. Something else is using space, not just the original build and one or two applications. Verify you don't have a bunch of music or videos (both of which can be moved to the SD card easily) and that there's not a C:\Windows.old folder left from an OS upgrade.

Tnx. I also thougt this should be possible but i have no music, video's or what ever.

I don't know what should make this space'waste'.

I allready informed if the hidden partion could be put to the C: partition but that was not possible.

So i don't have any idea yet. Perheps back to the original installation and then ......

You will also find that the hidden partition(s) are really small... Typically 100MB and 450MB (only about 1/2GB between them). You might want to look at how much space is being used by update images. You can use Disk Cleanup to get rid of unneeded ones.

I think I have the same computer, and as IronFly said, one (unfortunately!) can't upgrade the internal 32 GB Solid State Drive which Windows runs on (and opening the unit voids the warranty anyway). The hidden recovery partitions on it can be pretty big -- I have a 7 GB one on my SSD, and the total size left for the "disk" is only 22 GB, with only 4 GB free for use with a minimal installation.  Many people have a similar problem, but I haven't heard of anyone having as little space left as you do after cleaning up the disk:  what does Windows list the disk size as?

Here is a thread you might find helpful: Not-enough-space-for-latest-windows-10-update.  I don't know if the clumsy solution I found would work for you (sorry that it's in technical English and a bit complex):  at the least, you could use Partition Wizard to see how big the hidden partitions are, and if there's some big block of empty space on one or an unallocated chunk of memory.  And make a permanant, dedicated Windows Recovery USB drive before messing with the partitions!
