I brought my pc (ACER VN7-591G-77FH) to ACER in order to make them add ssd, check the pc for heating with w10 and check usb ports. They told me at first that they would format the HDD (1 TB) and I would lose my data. I said "ok".
Today I went to ACER to get my pc and the guy at the reception told me they have cleaned the fans and that the problem with my usb ports was software, so that they had to reinstall the os. Moroever, he told me they have made a recovery of the system. I asked him what he meant with "recovery", but he didn't explained very well (I thought he wasn't a pc technician) and told me they formatted the hdd and installed the os on the ssd.
When I came back home, I powered on my computer and I had to configure it. An acer screen configuration appeared and then w8.1 claimed to be configured with my mail, password mobile's number etc...
When I entered in my account, I noticed that in C there are the following two things:
1) there is a txt file called recovery which is empty
2) there is a folder called Python27 (didn't they delete it?? Why?). It looks weird because there are some files dated (11/03/2016) (tomorrow), while NEWS, LICENSE, python and pythonw are dated 05/12/2015, finally README is dated 21/11/2015
So...what did they do?
I have tried to install w10 from usb to reset everything, but when I boot, there's only Windows Boot Manager (Crucial 500blah blah blah blah) in the boot menu...
What can I do??
