Few questions on the Aspire Switch 10
My girlfriend's parents have an Acer Aspire Switch 10. First of all every now and then the WiFi drops. I think I will try the solution provided here and get back here if that doesn't work.
However, another issue has been there since the beginning. Every now and then the first letter of a word is missing. This is because the first keystroke is not registered. This happens with all letters.
Is this a known issue?
Last but not least: any word on continuum for the Aspire Switch 10?

Where can I find the complete model (in the software)? I can take control of the machine using Teamviewer. That saves me 1,5 hour drive
It is running Windows 10 (hence the question for Continuum )

There was a similar symptom early on where the keyboard was being put to sleep any time you didn't use it, though it wakes up whenever you hit a key (but losing that key press). Find the USB device in Device Manager and verify that the power options aren't letting it sleep.

And I had already checked whether the keyboard was allowed to be switched off to save on energy consumption but it wasn't. Now I have disabled it for all USB stuff as well. Mobility is not important for them. Let's see what happens!
My apologies for not responding sooner (although you guys responded very quickly!): I reveived only one notification E-mail. After that...nothing.

And with regards to the fact that the WiFi every now and then drops I think I'll have to investigate the problem en post a question here if I don't find a solution since this device has a different WiFi card than the one in the "solution" that I found

Ok, the issue with the keyboard is solved. I will create a separate topic for the WiFi

Great! What was the final finding on the keyboard?

I have set the energy settings of all USB devices not to allow to be switched off when not used. That seems to have solved the issue.
Next to that I had to reset the device to factory settings a while ago. So, perhaps I need to adjust those settings again.

Likely you are right, a factory reset is going to set them all back to the defaults, even if the defaults aren't optimal.
