Why does the coa for the operating system not match the coa sticker on the outside of the laptop

I bought a used TravelMate 5742-7159 laptop from Ebay. It has Windows XP Pro installed on it. I think I need to reinstall Windows so I am trying to prepare for that. I am having trouble using the install media I have with the coa on the outside of the laptop. I installed a keyfinder program and see something odd. Jelly Bean Keyfinder reports a different coa than is on the COA sticker on the outside of the laptop. Is that normal for an OEM Acer install to show that? I think the laptop has what looks like a recovery partition but It may be corrupt because I cant get it to work. The media I am using is from the Digital River website before it was deactivated. From what I see on the Internet there is a way to use this but I am confused about what coa I should use.

I don't know what I was thinking. The Operating system is Windows 7 Pro SP1. Probably because I was working on a XP computer at the same time I was writing this post.
