acer aspire one kav60 eRecovery

My nephews acer aspire one model# kav60 S/N [edited for privacy] will not load into windows,it sets at the Windows XP screen I've tried the Alt F10 and no good, what comes up is Start Windows Normally, Safe Mode, Safe mode with Networking, Safe mode with Command prompt none will do anything but trys to load Windows XP screen, and it sets their all day.
