i have tried eveything. i keep getting invalid serial # which it is not...

    I second this, only, instead of invalid serial number, I keep getting "the entered value should have the format mm/dd/yyyy" under the purchase date field, which I have filled out as "01/13/2016". Just in-case, I also tried "2016-01-13" but the same message came up in red under the field.

     

    Tried in FireFox, Chrome, and even Microsoft Edge (under Windows 10 on Acer R3-131T).

    yes i get that also tried every format there is ...no go...or I am getting already registered but not showing in my products or when i try to set up my warrenty i get you must register first ...very frustrating

    Try dd/mm/yyyy. That worked for me

    Just tried again. The purchase date of this convertible device that I'm typing this on is 01/13/2016, however, any combination of those numbers (with/without preceeding 0, various orders) is not accepted. I'm guessing Acer has a validation check on the form, and perhaps forgot to update it for 2016. Would be nice if they get this fixed.

    Hi guys,

     

    I just identified an issue working with on of our Ace members @padgett where we found that he was using lowercase on the Serial Number and getting an error. Could you try using all upper case with the Serial Number (not SNID) and if you continue to have an issue, send me a screenshot through private message and I'll forward it over to our global team?

    Every time i try and register my product i get product is already registered !!!

    But there is no products in my profile ?????? please help

    As per the above message, I tried the format "dd/mm/yyyy" (instead of the requested "mm/dd/yyyy"), and this time it was accepted! My Acer Convertible is now registered! Now, if only Acer would send me a free Predator monitor for my troubles... Cat LOL

    That does not work for me .... i tried dates in all forms and still wont let me register my product !! I have upgraded to windows 10 from 7 and my search for drivers and updates only brings up windows 7 OS for me ??

    I read all these replies, & armed & dangerous, posted it all again, using dd/mm/yyyy and caps.....that did not work, so I clicked on the little date box & posted the date from there, which is dd/mm/yyyy.......sigh.....IT WORKED. Go figure, mind you it has taken me 3 days to try & log in...I had to use my Google account, though I was unhappy doing this, because I couldn't get past the 'incorrect password' hurdle.....Come on Acer, fix the log in problem, please....3 days just to register?..... groan.....so clunky & so yesterday......

    I hope I don't have any of the other problems I have read about on here & Facebook, wish me luck!! I need it after reading this.....
