Audio Issue

I have an Aspire V3-574. This issue is where if I plug in headphones, the audio will stop playing either a little after I plugged in my headphones, or after I unplug them. When I check the volume mixer on the toolbar, it shows that audio is still playing, its just not coming out of the speaker or headphones if I re-plug them back in. The problem resolves if I restart the laptop. I don't want to have to restart my computer every time I plug in headphones though.

Another issue if anywone is willing to answer or knows is that, occasionally, the taskbar at the bottom of the screen wont pop up when I click on them. The calander, clock, audio, start button, nothing. This also gets resolved when I restart but again, I dont' want to have to restart my comptuer 8 times a day.
