Aspire E5-571 Problems Reinstalling usb

I received a system recovery USB to reinstall everything. I began at 10:30am and it's 4:30pm. It has gotten to the last install of "sysprep-factory-mode", about three hours ago and is stuck in a loop of some sort. My mousepad or USB one doesn't work. Nor up and down keys. The only thing I didn't try was the power off button. I don't want to do anything yet getting this far. Any help or suggestions, please. Bertcat.

Ok it worked, the Ctrl+apt+del. And a menu came up, Lock,Switch used,Sign out,Change a password,Task Manager. I don't know what will work but it has now brought up that page of "Activate Windows". What shall I choose since it has to do the finish process from the USB system recovery?

try these key combinations and see if you are able to check about hidden windows asking for a prompt

    alt+tab

    or

    ctr+shift+esc

    or

    ctrl+alt+del

    or

    windows logo key + d

in the worst case, push the power button and restart your recovery from scratch.

When Ctrl, alt,del is used that menu comes back on and the touchpad lets the pointer move around. I see the power button on the lower corner and easeof access in the left corner.

check on task manager if any process is hanging (not responding)

click more details and check on Processes

Thanks I will. Ctr+alt+del took me to the menu again. Chose to turn off. Then restarted. Told me on administrator page disabled. So restarted again. Took back to page of USB recovery where it had finished. Then it proceeded to let me choose options as the administrator this time. Just to let you know everythings working. Thank you so much Ironfly. Acer is great for their customers. Have a nice day.
