Windows 10 - wireless network adapter
I have a V5-571P laptop(64 bit) which has been running on Windows 10 since launch of Windows 10 - with no problems.
However, after a recent automatic update for Windows 10 and on start up I get a notification that the Broadcom 802.11 network adapter wireless network controller is incompatible and I can't connect to the internet wirelessly (only ethernet). Have had Microsoft help trying to resolve remotely but without success.
Looking at Acer website v5-571P isn't listed for Windows 10 support.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

ok.
open device manager, double click your WiFi adapter, click Details tab, from the drop down menu, select HardwareID, click the first value on the right, copy and paste it here.

Thanks. This downloaded and installed OK, but on restart still get the notification "Broadcom 820.11 Network Adapter Wireless Network Controller doesn't work on the version of Windows". Says connected but no internet access. On opening Network and Sharing centre says no internet access. After "trouble shooting" network problems it does a fix of repairing network gateway and can get wireless connection, but connection keeps dropping.

You welcome.
at the end, you need to wait a Microsoft update to fix this issue.
