Hi all.  Like the title says, I can't connect to 5g network on Acer One 10 which has Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter.  Here's some more info on it:

Manufacturer: Realtek Semiconductor Corp.

Description: Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter

Driver version: 3008.8.401.2015

Tried Googling to see if this network adapter supports dual-band (or something) but it's 1am and all this techy talk is making my head hurt T.T  Can someone tell me in plain words if there's anything I can do to find the 5g network (because my Sony Xperia Z can and yes, the router supports both 2.4g & 5g network).  Or should I just give in to consumerism and buy a USB adapter?  Thing is I won't be able to use the USB thingy without the keyboard attachment and what if I want to use just the tablet?

Many thanks in advance for anyone who'll reply (properly, that is XD).

I have seen many people on here with this same problem, including me.  What I do is reset the computer then it detects my wireless network.  Unfortunately, this has only been a temporary fix.  I have not seen anything on here from ACER, which is totally frustrating.  The prevailing thought is that it is a hardware failure.
