When connected my H257HU monitor this is what happens periodically.

    This is the second monitor I purchased. I returned the first one because it did the same thing, and thought it was just a faulty monitor.  I have also connected to two different computers and it does the same thing on both computers.  I am connecteingit via DVI cable. I have tried updating the drivers and talking with Acer support and no one can tell me why it does this.  Sometimes the screen is fine for upwards of 10 mins and then it just cuts to this fuzzy pixel-type screen and can stay like that for 1 minute or 15 mins.

     

    Any help would be appreciated.

    If you have tried multiple monitors it may be likely that isn't the cause of the problem and it could be down to something else.

     

    You said you have connected it to two different computers, did you use the same video cable for this process? If so, it may be a good idea to try another video cable with either of the computers to see if the issue still occurs. Have you tried other video cables other than the DVI?
